Wherli Fabrication’s heavy-duty traction bars were designed to prevent the common issues associated with increasing the performance of your GM Duramax. These traction bars provide a significant increase in overall strength and durability to keep your rear axle safely secured where it belongs, eliminating the twisting movement (axle wrap) that typically leads to broken u-joints and driveshafts.
These high-quality traction bars feature Currie Enterprise rebuild-able and grease-able “Johnny Joint” style heim connections at the frame allowing full adjustment of the pre-load and overall length making them suitable for lifted and lowered applications.
The WCFAB bars offer a clean and simple installation with bolt on brackets for the rear axle along with a set of weld-on mounts for the frame for superior strength & durability. These bars come standard with a ZINC primer base coat along with your choice of powdercoat to ensure a long lasting finish to keep them looking fresh regardless of what you intend to put them through.
Important Notes:
Applications with upward facing U-bolts do not allow for a bolt on installation, these brackets must be welded to the axle tube.
