The Stainless Diesel 5 Blade Turbochargers are built from brand new genuine Borg Warner turbo's that are modified to improve effeciency and performance with their signature 5 blade compressor wheel that provides a significant improvement in airflow over the factory units.
These Race Series turbochargers feature a .71AR compressor housing (aka race cover) designed to provide the most airflow possible to maximize top end performance for those that are less concerned about drivability in the low end.
The Performance Series turbochargers use the smaller .63AR compressor housing that will spool quicker for those running larger singles or that simply prefer drivability over maximum top end performance. SEE HERE.

The 1.32AR housing is the standard option that is most commonly used in compound setups and big race applications. The 1.15AR housing will provide quicker spool up for running larger singles and can work well for some compound setups. The 1.15 is not recommended or sold with the S495 turbocharger.
