The Industrial Injection Gorilla Girdle adds a tremendous amount of strength and stability in the bottom end. By joining the main caps together and securing them to the engine block it acts as a brace to eliminate cap walk.
This kit comes complete with everything needed to install and includes two different options to choose from between 12MM and 14MM ARP XL Main Studs.
Important Notes:
The 14MM Main stud kit requires drilling/tapping of the block for installation along with use of a stamped (clearanced) oil pan.
Some 6.7 engines without the factory girdle came equipped with a shorter oil pick-up tube and will require use of the older style tube and hardware.
It is strongly advised to read and understand the instructions before beginning installation.
