The Fass heater kit was designed as a simple addition to any titanium fuel system to help prevent the reliability issues with diesel fuel that can occur when exposed to sub freezing temperatures.
When diesel fuel is subject colder temperatures it begins to freeze and crystalize in a process commonly referred to as "fuel gelling". In the event that this occurs, it is possible to experience hard or even no start conditions which can lead to unnecessary wear and tear on other components within the fuel system.
With this kit the Fass system block will begin to warm up once the ignition is cycled into the "ON" position, and will automatically turn off once the ideal temperature is reached.
Additional Options:
All Fass Titanium Systems come equipped with ports to accept up to two of these heaters for added reassurance in extreme weather conditions. The splitter harness and additional probe can be purchased above for a very simple installation.
