CR2's Crankshaft Pin Kit is designed to resolve the common problem of sheering the alignment pin at higher RPMS. This kit comes with everything you need to drill and re-pin the balancer, eliminating the need to remove the crankshaft from the engine to have a key machined into it.
This pin kit can easily be installed with the engine still in the truck and only requires removal of the radiator and intercooler. Simply remove the broken pin and install the balancer back into its original position and use the jig to drill a 3/4-1" deep hole 180 degrees out from the factory pin location. Install the hardened roll pin and tighten the new crankshaft bolt with the existing washer to the factory torque spec.
