CP Carrillo's billet connecting rods are a great option for anyone looking to optimize the strength and reliability to their engine build. These rods are manufactured from oversized forgings to promote proper grainflow while eliminating any potential inclusions or surface conversions generated by the forging process.
After the forging process, each rod is magnafluxed, shotpeened and rockwell tested to ensure maximum strength, hardness and durability resulting in an end product that is ready to handle just about anything you could throw at it.
These rods are a direct replacement for the factory rods, they are shipped complete with a specification card along with your choice of rod bolts.
Rod Bolt Selection:
The standard H11 Tool Steel (WMC) bolts are rated for up to 18 torque cycles where the upgraded multiphase (CARR) fasteners are good for an indefinite amount of installations, meaning they should only ever need to be replaced in the event that they have been overstretched or overheated.
