Description
The BD Thruster II performance turbo is a direct bolt on replacement designed to improve power and performance while retaining the factory fit and appearance. This turbocharger features a billet 66MM compressor wheel for maximum airflow with a custom 360 degree thrust bearing that increases durability for a longer service life.
In addition to the oversized compressor wheel, this turbocharger includes BD's heavy duty wastegate with an .84 A/R turbine housing designed to prevent boost creep and turbo surge while reducing exhaust gas temperatures and smoke levels under heavy acceleration.
Fitment Note:
This turbocharger is a direct replacement for the 1999.5-2003 Ford F250/F350 7.3 Powerstrokes, it is not compatible with the early 1999 model trucks with a build date of 03/21/99 and earlier.
