The BD heavy duty flexplate was built to provide a significant increase in strength and durability. Its forged billet construction is 2X times thicker than the stock unit.
This flexplate features a corrosion resistant black oxide coating and is a direct factory replacement for the Allison 1000 transmission found in the 2001-2018 GM Duramax.
