The BD Screamer Retrofit Kit was designed as a permanent solution to the many issues commonly experienced with the factory GT32 style turbocharger. This kit replaces the problematic single sequential turbo with the updated GT37 style BD Screamer for a significant increase in reliability and performance.
These kits come complete with everything needed to install the upgraded BD turbocharger in place of the factory unit for a clean and simple bolt on installation.
Turbocharger Options:
- The Stage 1 Screamer turbo features a 61MM compressor wheel with a 62MM mixed flow turbine wheel (MFT) designed to provide the best all around performance with no sacrifice to drivability. This turbo is suitable for all applications and is capable of supporting up to 500HP.
- The Stage 2 Screamer turbo features a larger 64MM compressor wheel with a high flowing 65MM MFT turbine wheel designed to maximize airflow for those looking to go above and beyond the 500HP threshold. This turbo is ideal for performance/race applications. Custom tuning is recommended.
Important Note:
Use of a programmer/tuner may be required to ensure that no fault codes are set once the factory turbocharger is removed.
