AMP Research created the Powerstep system as an extremely lightweight and aesthetically pleasing way to add steps to your vehicle. These electric powered running boards are designed to automatically extend and retract anytime a door is used, allowing them to remain concealed up under the cab until they are needed.
AMP steps are American designed and engineered using high quality aluminum and stainless steel components. Additionally, each step is anodized with a military spec PTFE coating promoting optimal strength, durability and corrosion resistance making them suitable for all applications.
These steps come standard with a built in LED lighting system and are sold complete including detailed instructions along with all hardware necessary for installation.
Available Options:
The Standard option fits all 2009-2018 Ram 1500 & 2010-2018 RAM 2500/3500 pickups.
The upgraded "PLUG & PLAY" option is available for all 2013-2018 RAM 1500-3500's along with the 2019-2020 RAM 2500/3500 Diesel Models.
Fitment Notes:
Regular & Extended cab pickups will require minor trimming
Vehicles equipped with factory air ride will require an air tank relocation bracket. Not compatible with the offset collision bracket found on Rebel, Sport & Express Models.
