The S&S Disaster Prevention Bypass Kit is designed to protect the fuel system in the event of a CP4 injection pump failure. When the CP4 fails, it sends metal and debris throughout the injectors, fuel rails, lines and into the tank which is known to cause catastrophic damage, resulting a very expensive replacement of the whole system.
S&S designed this kit to use all OE Style quick connect fittings for an easy installation with the added benefit of eliminating the need to cut and modify your factory components. These fittings are superior to the standard threaded joints and compression fittings as they greatly reduce the possibilities of any fuel leaks down the road.
This Gen 2.1 kit comes complete with everything needed to install including the billet return filter head that accepts an easily accessible Donaldson (P550943) spin on filter to keep any and all debris from making its way into the rest of your fuel system.
