Merchant's Water In Fuel Delete Plug is machined out of high quality aluminum to provide a leak free seal with no need to fiddle with the brittle plastic sensor and its wiring every time you change your fuel filter. Although seemingly important, this sensor has proven to be very unreliable causing false readings or just not working at all, this sensor can be removed and set aside without throwing a check engine light so no tuning is required.
Merchant Automotive WIF Wrench
Merchant's WIF wrench is also machined from 6061 billet aluminum for a perfect fit featuring an extremely low profile design that makes it much easier remove or install the WIF sensor/plug when working in tight spaces. This wrench also includes a provision for the bleeder screw.
Fitment Note:
The plug is an exact match for the factory WIF sensor and is designed for use with all metal cased fuel filters, some of the plastic replacement fuel filters on the market have slight deviations in the threads which may cause fitment issues. Solution: stick to high quality metal cased filters.
