BD's Exhaust Manifolds are a simple, bolt on upgrade designed to increase reliability and performance while eliminating some of the common issues associated with the 3.5 EcoBoost.
Although the factory manifolds function as they should, they are subject to a design flaw which only allows them to use 8 of the 11 mounting stud locations on the engine. As a result, the factory manifolds are known to warp over time which often leads to broken studs, blown gaskets and exhaust leaks.
The BD manifolds were designed to resolve this issue by including the 3 additional mounting studs to ensure a nice and solid, leak free seal to the cylinder heads. These manifolds are constructed of thicker walled, high silicone ductile iron for better durability and are port matched to the cylinder heads to provide optimal performance and drivability.
Optional Install Kit:
BD's optional turbo install kit comes complete with all of the gaskets, fittings and hardware needed to remove and re-install the turbochargers to the manifold for an easy, trouble free installation.
