When it comes to changing the ride height on solid-axle applications, the track bar is an important component that is often overlooked.
The track bars purpose is to center the front axle under the truck allowing the control arms, shocks and other steering components to function properly. Anytime you adjust the ride height, the axle is pushed off to the side causing premature ware on other steering components while sacrificing ride quality.
